Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Knife Angle Guide app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by MICHALSKI SP Z O O (collectively, the “Application”). MICHALSKI SP Z O O is referred to as the “Service Provider”.

This policy is effective as of 2026-06-08.

Information collection and use

The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required.

If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted only to facilitate network connectivity. This data is not retained or used for tracking by the Service Provider.

Location data

The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.

Third-party access

Since the Application does not collect personal information, no personal data is shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising profiles.

No authorization or accounts

The Application and this public policy page do not require account creation, login, registration, user dashboards, protected routes, or password-based access for basic use.

Data Retention

The Service Provider does not collect or retain personal information through normal use of Knife Angle Guide. Because no personal data is collected by the Application, there is no personal data retention period for app usage data.

Any sharpening session records, maintenance logs, notes, or similar entries created inside the Application are intended to remain locally on the user’s device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.

Data Deletion

Because the Application does not collect or store personal data on Service Provider systems through normal use, there is no server-side user profile or personal dataset to delete.

Users can delete local app records directly from their device where the Application provides such controls, by clearing app data through device settings, or by uninstalling the Application.

If you voluntarily contact the Service Provider by email and provide personal information, you may request deletion of that communication data by contacting support@michalski.ink.

Opt-out rights

Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, uninstalling it removes the Application from your device and stops any future app use.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or any higher age required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them.

Security

Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of personal data exposure is minimal. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data breach notification

Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting app usage personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving information voluntarily provided to the Service Provider, users will be notified as required by applicable law.

Safety note

Knife Angle Guide is an educational reference tool. Always follow safe handling practices when using or maintaining knives, blades, or sharpening equipment.

Changes to this policy

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by posting an updated policy with a new effective date.

Your consent

By using the Application, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
